Aye haha. I'll have mixed feelings, alhough they've seen better days, when they were first new they were allocated to my old local routes. Same with Merits, but I like them (Well, apart from 8262 & 8266).

What time do services 6 and X70/X71 start interworking? Is it just when the times that are more consistent throughout the day start (ie. the times per hour that go on to be used for the 'Every xx mins. at...until' bit)?

Random question, Does Saltmeadows open during Christmas, on the days which aren't a bank holiday, so the likes of the 27th December?

I think it's just during the week (And possibly Saturdays) it's open. I could be wrong though.

Doesn't matter, when looking at the timetables side by side, the riddle is practically solved.

Wait, just noticed the 27th is a Sunday so that's out of the question, haha.

Thanks.

Stagecoach were also operating Saturday service within the region - bar some additional special services (22X for example)

I don't, but I appreciate that it's a difficult one to call. Christmas Eve is still a working day, but a lot of people do tend to finish early. It's a nightmare to get to work in some places, when the early works runs aren't on.

Quite a few people do work Christmas Eve - Husband has had to for as long as I can remember, though usually knocks off early, as they have to shut all the systems down before closing down for the Christmas period.

Saturday services are a bit poor even for shop workers, here. You can either get into the centre of Durham at about 8:20 (no earlier), or bang on 9 - so long as the bus is running on time. That last bus before 9am runs a bit earlier on a weekday.
