(13 Mar 2016, 9:50 pm)GMitchelhill Quick question (as I cannot be bothered to search).

When did Stockton receive their Tridents?

Just that I'm going to go through my photos to see if I need any for photos, and rather find a point when they arrive rather then trawl through loads of photos.

17025/6 arrived on the evening of the 11th April 2013, and entered service on 7th May.
17027/32 arrived around about the 1st May 2013. 17027 entered service on 3rd June, with 17032 entering service on the 10th both after repaints.
17028/9 arrived on the evening of the 10th November 2013. 17028 entered service on the 13th November and 17029 on the 15th.

I don't think I've got all of them, only managed 2 different ones in 2013 as they were so unliked and they opted to use the Volvo Olympians.

Anyway, it turns out I've only got photos of 17026 (some rather nice night shots of it) / 17027 / 17029 with Stockton (probably have a few of all 6 of them when they were in Hull.)

Aside from the school runs (going to have to camp outside the depot for them to return one morning), is there any other services that they find use on. I know there is an Asda bus service, I don't know if it still exsists, it used to go to South Bank ASDA, but it may go to a different one now.

The ASDA Free Bus still runs Gary. As for other services, 39s on weekdays throws up at least 1 (2 on schooldays - 1 appears to work a single trip at 1353, during the school holidays the same vehicle works that trip) and one early trip on the 13 is booked for one (which I believe Wednesday to Friday works onto the ASDA Free Bus). The 0904 13 from Middlesbrough can also throw up one every so often.

Oh great, does anyone know of the times and route of the ASDA buses, I believe some routes go to South Bank and the others to Skelton?

All still go to South Bank Gary. As for times, I did have a timetable but no idea where it is.

The last time I saw it, would have been early afternoon heading towards Skelton up the A174 towards Skelton from the big roundabout at the top of Marske.
It was too early for a scholars. The best I can do for timings unfortunately.

And turned out lucky. One disappeared out on a random run whilst one went to warm up on the pits.

Stagecoach 'Club 22' branding has now started to emerge onto the streets of Newcastle today. 19387 and 19430 were done this morning and put out on 38s. A couple more UID examples were done later on and put out where they should belong this afternoon.

There was a competition advertised on the 22 a while back where you had to send in stories connection to the number 22. Prizes were given to the winners, and some of the stories will appear on the branding.

Was on the 22 tonight and I didn't even realise it was branded until I got off! Only really on the rear of the bus as far as I could see, so nothing special. Was 19432 I think I had so that's another one branded, would have got a photo on my phone but was too late before I realised.

Club 22, sounds like the old X34 brand.

Must be why I actually had to look twice to see the branding... Tom was right - it's barely noticeable!

Pity - Stagecoach could have done something a bit more extravagant, given that this service competes with Go North East's Coaster.

Yeah it's mainly on the back - the one I had had ducks on though rather than flamingos or whatever they are so must be a few variations of it.

They all seem to have Wi-Fi though which is good.

Odd. What do the animals represent, do you know?

Stagecoach must have retrofitted Wi-Fi to further Enviro400s, as the three we've got down as branded so far don't (or didn't) have Wi-Fi:

There was a competition where people sent in stories about the number 22 to be featured. so I'm guessing it's related to that? God knows what ducks represent though.
