RE: Formal confirmation of the Preservation of 21037
They've been well know but I can reveal that 37 was formally preserved last Tuesday when the cheque cleared. I didn't report it simply because I was going to wait until the next fleet card was released. She is now owned by the Chairman of the 500 Group. As for her future, that is remaining secret

(05 May 2016, 6:38 pm)Kuyoyo Didn't I just confirm that? I'm meaning her future within preservation - I'll being keeping that under wraps until she's ready (which will not be anytime soon)Just a point of clarity - is it a 500 group vehicle now, or privately owned by the chairman?

(05 May 2016, 6:56 pm)Dan Aye, we've heard the stories about how it takes nine years to restore a bus...
Surely which livery it is going to be restored into is limited to two choices... Transit livery or Stagecoach Stripes. Given your reference to fleet number 37, I will go with the former.

Davie. Why not keep 34401 and send 34611 plus 22067&22070 away to find a new home. Regards Robin

(05 May 2016, 7:03 pm)Kuyoyo 37 shouldn't take as long as 106 took nor the length of time expected once 544 is due to take when the group gets round to it (we have another project to do before that). The majority of the work required on 37 is cosmetic such as a full re-panel and cab area work.
Livery isn't the subject of discussion - when complete, 37 will be in Transit livery as it was when delivered nearly 22 years ago. The tag line of the 'Transit' fleetnames however is one that will not be know until 37 is ready.
That is broadly all I can discuss - the rest you can wait and see when she is ready in a few years time (hopefully).
