(26 Jun 2016, 8:17 pm)Andreos1 I have reported a number of ads. No idea whether it is a complete coincidence, but my email account receives an astounding amount of spam every weekend and has done since the ads were launched on the forum.
This came up earlier and I pressed the wrong button. After a little waiting it re-appeared.

This thread has had it's time, and going on and on about the ads aren't going to resolve any problems you may have with them. If you're having genuine problems with Google Adwords/Adsense on this site, then please follow the advice below.
1) I don't want to see ads. How do I block them?
Answer - Whilst we'd hope that people would choose to support the site by allowing ads, we understand that some people may not want to see them, which is ultimately their choice. You can block them by using a browser extension such as AdBlock, which is available for Chrome and Firefox.
2) How do I opt in or out of seeing personalised ads?
Answer - See this article.
3) What do I do if I think Google is serving me poor or incorrect ads?
Answer - Report it to Google.
4) I'm receiving fake virus, popups or other intrusive ads.
Answer - Report it to Google as per 3, but also let us know by reporting it in this thread.
