Wizz Air

Being a tall guy, the airline I struggled the most with was Ryanair. Some of my friends have flown Wizz Air and seem to like them.

A while ago, I started something off in the rail thread with the idea that I would plot it on a map and identify any trends.
I never did it and haven't kept mine up to date at all.
However, it may be worth someone doing similar in the airline thread, either for routes, aircraft or airlines.

(13 Jun 2016, 6:42 pm)8222 No no. I'm often in the air : Although I do tend to stick to BA whenever possible for Avios points.

(13 Jun 2016, 6:12 am)NK53 TKT Just think of it as going on a train, just you get a better view.
I have flown a lone before with BA using their skyflyer service to see my aunty in London. There is nothing scary about it unless you have a fear of flying. A fear of heights won't affect you at 35,000 feet

(13 Jun 2016, 7:16 pm)PO51WNF It's more the airport side of it that I'm nervous about, rather than the flight itself. I was proper nervous before flying to Iceland but I loved it once we took off.
I'm unsure of where to go and what to do when I get to the airport (check-in, security, bag drop etc.....) and don't want to look like an idiot by going to the wrong place..... also the baggage rules really confuse me, like what you can take on the plane and what you can take in the hold

(13 Jun 2016, 7:49 pm)NK53 TKT To outline it for you in simple terms:
When you arrive:
Check in and bag drop (unless you have checked in online and/or have hold luggage) Maximum hold luggage weight is 20kg ish.)
Security you need to follow all instructions given to you and no liquids more than 100ml with a maximum weight of 5kg ish.
After security do whatever you want in the airport such as shop or eat.
I would arrive at least 2 hours before departure and for hold luggage, if in doubt just put it in the hold
