Suggestions for North Tyneside, Newcastle and Gateshead
Citylink service 57
Will operate between Wardley and Newcastle City Centre only with some timetable changes. Frequency will remain the same as now.
Most parts of the section between Heworth, Gateshead, Newcastle and Battle Hill replaced by new Coast-City-Links service 58.
Section between Newcastle (from Haymarket) and Hadrian Park replaced by new Centurion service 305 and excluding Hadrian Park, service 310.
Service 11X
Withdrawn and replaced by new Coast-City-Links service 58.
Service X39
Revised to operate between Newcastle and Cobalt only in both directions.
Frequency and times will remain the same as now.
Cobalt Clipper service 309
Replaced between Newcastle and Blyth by new Coast-City-Links service 58.
NEW Coast-City Links service 58
Will operate up to every 15 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes between Heworth and Blyth via the current 58 route into Newcastle City Centre then via John Dobson Street, before following same route as service 309 to Blyth via Cobalt and Whitley Bay.
Will operate up to every 30 minutes during the evenings and up to every 20 minutes during Sunday daytimes.
Same stopping arrangements for all directions in Newcastle City Centre as current service 57.
Cobalt Clipper (NEW Centurion) service 310
Service 310 will now operate under the Centurion brand.
Same frequency as now with some timetable changes; no route change.
NEW Centurion service 305
Will operate between Hadrian Park and Newcastle Haymarket.
Will operate anti-clockwise around Addington Drive in Hadrian Park before following the exact same route as service 310 between Battle Hill Drive and Newcastle via High Farm.
Will operate up to every 15 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes as well as up to every 60 minutes during the evenings and up to every 30 minutes during Sunday daytimes.
Centurion services 305 & 310
Up to every 7-8 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes between Battle Hill Drive and Newcastle Haymarket via High Farm, Coast Road and Cradlewell.
Up to every 30 minutes during the evenings as well as up to every 15 minutes during Sunday daytimes.
Coast-City-Links PVR / Allocations
Coast-City-Links service 58 = 16x Volvo B9TL / Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 (6102-6117)
Depot Allocation = 10x from Riverside Depot + 6x from Percy Main Depot
Monday to Saturday PVR = 16
Evening PVR = 6
Sunday daytime PVR = 11
Other notes: Some PM services on Mondays to Fridays between Blyth and Cobalt 'docked' as now but for additional runs between Cobalt and Heworth as well as to maintain capacity and frequency rather than be used for service X39

Centurion Services 305 & 310 = 11x Optare Versa V1170 (5377-5384 + 5388-5390)
Depot Allocation = 11x from Percy Main Depot
Monday to Saturday PVR (Combined) = 11
Evening PVR (Standalone) = 3 (2x 310 + 1x 305)
Sunday daytime PVR (Combined) = 6
