(20 Sep 2016, 9:16 pm)Adrian Really? I find the Solo SRs to be solid buses.Stanley's? They are all.. prone to rattling.. piercing at times. This isn't true with newer models or even older models.. seems to be just Stanley's.

(20 Sep 2016, 9:20 pm)Brian13 Couldn't as didn't have credit to ring GNE as I have a contract ohone and it's an 0845 number. Plus it was after 6 by the time I caught the Jim Hughes run. Did say something to Nexus when I rang at 5 to 6

This isn't true with newer models or even older models.. seems to be just Stanley's.I have never had a rattling Venture before. I don't expect a bus to be rattle free, the odd pole making a noise when the bus is stationary is something id be surprised not to hear, but other than that, all of the ones that i have been on are absolutely fine.

A genius website that gives you landline numbers if you type in the non-geographical number.
Saved a fortune over the years by using that site.
(20 Sep 2016, 10:11 pm)Malarkey GNE have a 0191 Number now (01914205050) which I rang this morning when my X35 at 11:37am was 20 Minutes Late coming from Hartlepool, safe to the say the advisor was useless and refused to tell me why the service was late when I questioned her on whether it was due to traffic etc.

(21 Sep 2016, 4:30 am)dannygee It says on the fleet list that 4963 has moved to percy main but it hasnt yet. Also 568 is at percy main and it isnt??
(20 Sep 2016, 9:08 pm)Brian13 Nice to see GNE caring about Nexus services tonight no show was the 1743 90 from TVTE had to wait til 1811 for the more reliable JH one although I got caught in traffic at Dunston. Would've been quicker to go to Gateshead on a 93 and get a 49 to Swalwell

(21 Sep 2016, 6:35 am)Y935 ERG Washington have kept 4963 as a spare while the Red Arrows are repainted I think. 568 was meant to be on the 434 on Tall Ship Saturday but wasn't.

(21 Sep 2016, 9:10 am)LeeCalder Driver on my 82A this morning, says that the new Solo SR's are horrible to driveEvery time a stanley driver gets off the streetlites on redkites, it's a sigh and 'I hate these (colourful language)ing buses'. Don't think these new buses are too popular haha.

(21 Sep 2016, 8:58 am)Dan It was due to transfer at the start of this month - see here. The reason why I included it at the time was to save myself a job later.
I believe the reason why the transfer is outstanding is due to 5257 being VOR. It was noted at DiagTest yesterday. All being well, this bus should be returning to service this week, which will allow 4963 to transfer to Percy Main as originally planned.
The bus covering for the Red Arrows mods / repaints is 6009.

(21 Sep 2016, 9:52 am)Dan Fleet lists/news updated with the latest movements. Think I've captured everything...
The biggest point of note is the re-allocation of the tri-axle Scania coaches to Hexham Depot, following the successful trial of 7100 earlier this year. 7098/99 will remain as 53-seaters (replacing 7080/82), while 7100-7102 will all undergo 69-seat conversion (replacing 7087/90/92).

(21 Sep 2016, 5:36 pm)peter Couple of questions regarding the coaches. Firstly, are 7095 and 7097 remaining as part of the Coaching Fleet? (and if so why as opposed to two with consecutive fleet numbers?) Secondly, what will happen to 7094 and 7096 (and possibly 7095/7)? And thirdly will the current coaches at Hexham return to the Training fleet to replace the Cadets or be disposed of??
Thanks, Peter
