Stagecoach North East: Rare & Odd Workings

Not the best journey, the incorrect use of Greatham blinds made me slightly nervous, journey seemed to take much longer than it should have done and that was before we got diverted between Norton and Stockton due to a incident, meaning I only just caught the X66 at Stockton.

Got papped on this in Newcastle too.

Seen the coach this morning at Boldon in a lay by heading towards Dalton Park with hazards lashing. That was 09:30 so must have broke down on first short hop from Newcastle.

Suppose depending where on route any depot could assist possibly. Newcastle/Gateshead covered by Newcastle. Felling by pass Boldon area covered by South Shields. A19 Wearside covered by Sunderland and Hartlepool Stockton areas covered by home depot.

It appears that the (very delayed) 1012 from Greatham was worked by 24101 as shown by a photo on Twitter (less said about the tweets I found with it the better.....)

It's a Sunday. That's entirely normal. Get the most fuel efficient buses out when you have a much lower PVR.

Yep entirely normal now you will see E400MMC everywhere on a Sunday 10,11,87,X87,X88 and sometimes 30s & 71

Same with the E200MMC

Ex-NE 34562 on the 685... but only making it as far as Haltwhistle before breakdown. Replaced defected 24118 earlier.

Afraid not, was spotted at Low Row en route to Newcastle, checked on it's whereabouts to learn it had broke. Looks like it was pushed into service soon after having a new alternator plus other bits. 22599 replaced, which should of been covering to start with.
