(06 Oct 2017, 7:38 pm)Dan They already have started to leave Hexham.
4942/43 were the first to transfer
5210 has now transferred to Riverside
5229 has now left Hexham - still at Saltmeadows Road at the moment having been repainted into fleet livery.

I'm sorry if it's already been asked but what are 618 and 619 allocated to at Hexham on Saturdays?
I know the Solos are allocated as following:
680S: 635 or 636
185/681/X81: 667
74: 668
683/684: 669
686: 670/671
688: Spare bus?
I would imagine that the 689 is operated by Stanley on Saturdays as it does not interwork with service 686?
Does anyone have correct allocations for Tynedale Links services?

(07 Oct 2017, 12:15 pm)Michael New buses or cascades from the Angel?, if its's the Hybrids from the Angel, no buses have arrived to replace the Hybrids, so they can't move to Percy Main.

(07 Oct 2017, 4:39 pm)L469 YVK Hybrids on the Coaster? That'll be interesting if it proves to be the case!
(07 Oct 2017, 5:04 pm)Jimmi From my experiences of the 50 at least, I don't think anything bigger than single deckers is needed on the 50 most of the time, about the busiest I see the 50 is around the Washington area particularly Galleries - Lambton which is usually just short hoppers catching the first bus that turns up.
Not sure on the 1 myself as it's not a route I regularly see or use but I could imagine that one being busy at times, especially on a hot summer's day.
My thing with this though, I can't see Go North East wanting to upgrade any single decker routes to double deck operation unless they feel it's absolutely necessary and even then I think it could come at a cost of a frequency decrease, that's why I was always thought that the hybrids wouldn't go on the 27.

With the 50 it tends to be busier between Durham and Washington than the latter part of the route, same with the 1 it tends to be busier between Wrekenton and Newcastle than again the latter part of the route, unless of course it is a nice summers day whereby the services are rammed. For me with these services much like the Red Kite & Toon Link I think it would be better to have a split allocation of double/single deckers, placing the deckers on the peak time boards when it is likely to be busier.
(07 Oct 2017, 5:27 pm)JP6004 Same for people heading to shields on a summers day.
