It's a lot of investment for that sort of service mind.

Which vehicle did it get its radiator cover from? Wink
Still think it just looks like an odd donated panel.

I'd imagine DFDS would want to improve the quality of service for it's passengers that use the 327, I would say it long overdue given how long Go North East have used rather old buses on this service.

As for the radiator cover, all of the Omnidekka's with Go North East have the same style panels.

The others don't have a random colour on theirs though. It matches the rest of the front end.

(01 May 2019, 7:33 pm)Michael The Spice Girls arrive at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on Thursday 6 June and getting there couldn't be easier with us.

Special X56 service running non-stop between Newcastle Central Station and the Stadium of Light.
Frequent services from across the region to the Stadium of Light and extra buses after the concert to get you home.

http://newsroom.gonortheast.co.uk/news/s...ide-367536

Hopefully there will be extra buses on to get us out of Sunderland for when the buggers start singing!

But why take 3 year old buses off and put older buses on,after having the darts for a while, doesnt really seem very fair, the roads round Holy Cross and Rosehill/Archer Street are a mess, whatever goes on wont last 2 minutes

Can anyone please confirm or otherwise, the bus rally at the Metrocentre on Sunday.  It's listed in 'Buses Magazine' but I've not seen anything locally.
Thanks.

Surely its better having all the older examples in one place rather than spread out across different depots.......makes it more simple to replace when the time comes. They has been times in the past where vehicles have been downgraded before new vehicles were purchased.....angel was downgraded with buses few years older, what is the current Washington indigo had older buses placed on it before upgrade too

I think it is a good opportunity to make the 19 a fully Solo operation, with 691-694 allocated.

Still think it just looks like an odd donated panel.

(02 May 2019, 5:09 pm)streetdeckfan My god that looks atrocious!

These mismatched front panels really cheapen the look of the revised Corporate livery. It doesn't look as professional as the front of previous corp. livery which didn't include any random coloured panels. Less is more when it comes to design. Hopefully they soon realise the error of their ways before they do too many more.

(01 May 2019, 5:51 am)Citaro5326 Personally I'd like to say E400MMC's for X1/X1A sending the B9s to Riverside for the 93/94 & Streetdecks for 45/46/47 sending the streetlites to Deptford for the 35/35A & 6118-6121 to Percy Main.

The only issue I can see with all deckers for Red Kites is the situation we had last year when 6118 - 6121 were not allowed to run on that service due to low hanging trees at Rowlands Gill, unless they swap them for the diamonds in summer months!

Hit the nail on the head, I do like the revised livery, but the blue on the front just doesn't work for me.
