(28 Jun 2019, 9:34 am)S830OFT Seeing as 1922 has been reinstated once again, is it likely one Cadet will be retained after the PVR reduction on the 21st July?

Although seeing as Darlington have service changes coming, is it likely a Pulsar could be released to finally see of the Cadets?

Both Cadets are due to be withdrawn when the service changes take place in July - Stockton's PVR drops by at least 2 (7 drops by 1). As most of Darlington's changes are on their minibus work, it'll be Solos released by those changes.

Considering most of the 05 plate Darts have already been withdrawn, it's peculiar Arriva are willing to retain the remaining ones for a good few more years. I believe it would make perfect sense to send 2819, 20 to Ashington allowing service 57 to have a full Optare allocation, and to standardise the Midibus fleet at Ashington.

Without the need to withdraw 1800/1801, they could always take up a spare role at other depots allowing older spare vehicles i.e. 1759, 4516, 4523 to be withdrawn.
