Have they all been treated to full repaints?
Here is a rare sight here is stagecoach Sunderland E200 fully stripped ready for the new coat seen at the back of wheatsheaf depot before taken by my mate Harry by Sunderland wheatsheaf depot, on Flickr
36971/2 haven't been repainted yet. Im surprised they haven't just used 3 of the gas buses instead

19387 was repainted earlier this week - seen below heading to Wheatsheaf.

Had seen 22068 display the 52 towards Heworth. Didn't know Stagecoach had displays for withdrawn GNE services.
(07 Jun 2019, 7:33 am)R.Tait Dan. Do you know which of the Shields buses are leaving on 23rd for Sunderland. Please can we be good friends. Thank you Robin

Hi Robin
Dan works for Go North East not Stagecoach that's how he can update loads of info on Go North East.
RBZ5459 is a good point of contact for Stagecoach info but don't hound him.

Obviously down to the works at Testo's, but had the unusual sight of an SNE blue liveried gas bus plodding down the Washington Highway tonight, passing the Galleries, towards Shiney Row.
Not sure how much time the diversion will have taken, but I imagine it will have added a few minutes.
Reckon it's the first in service SNE bus I've seen in that area, since they had the contract to run the 186 early morning runs back in the day.

(11 Jun 2019, 8:11 pm)R.TaitRBZ5459. Will Sunderland use there gas buses on the E services to South Shields when are services get changed on the 23rd. Also what will they use on the x20 + 30 to Fellgate And Boldon Asda. Robin
Shouldn't be anything hugley different at this stage, as Sunderland drivers and buses have their own normal booked duties. The ex-Shields drivers will be working their routes in which they were transferred over for, being familiar to those routes and those vehicles only (the Shields drivers have not yet been type-trained on the Scanias for example). At this stage some Sunderland drivers are voluntarily in the process of being trained up on the Es and X20/30 so that they are able to cover the Shields routes when needed, so to minimise disruption or lost mileage. I'm sure that over time when things settle down that ex-Shields drivers will be type-trained and familiarised with Sunderland local work.
All 15 E300 and 4 E400 will be moving across to Sunderland, with the X20/30 likely to be seeing two or three E200 move over - looking like MAN ones atm.
