It's long-term VOR at Consett, which is why 635 has transferred to Consett in a float/reserve capacity.
Surprised you didn't see it at Hownsgill on Sunday!

(22 Oct 2019, 12:01 am)JM03Id be guessing 91 mate, they end right next door in Team Valley, used to go onto 1 at Wrekenton after 7:12 but would be sensible to switch
The 91s come off the 1 services that terminate in Newcastle which then go back onto the 1 not 1A.
Believe the ones from Dunston run light from Percy main to pick the 1A up

The first one (4:56AM) doesn't do this could be one if changed but i think it has always done 7:12, could be a change in newcastle runs

(20 Oct 2019, 11:25 am)Michael Can we have an update of where we are with the buses getting retrofitted with modifications to make them Euro 6, it all seems to be gone quiet.
The Volvo B9s completed so far are 6043-48, 6071-84, 6085-87/89-91/94-98, 6100/2/3/5/8/11/16/17 and 6150/53/54.
8307 and 8328 are also fitted with trial Euro 6 systems.

Looking at the fleetlist, I see Optare Versa hybrid 9084 has left the Go North East fleet.

Good riddance, awful thing. Couple of times I thought it was going to kill me when the brakes decided to barely work at the bottom of Beacon Lough Bank. I've no confidence whatsoever in Optare's full electric products having driven that heap.

Or it would lurch forward when braking, I'm also glad to see the back of it.

Sounds like that Versa was just like the old Sunderland Connect Solos. That was some baptism of fire for new starters on a busy 700.

I hear that old East Yorks 6337 has been painted into a 'grey/charcoal' X-Lines livery, does anyone have any pictures yet? Didn't know there was going to be a separate spare X-Lines livery.
What kind of interior spec do these EY acquisitions have compared to the brand new X-Lines vehicles?

6337 has had USB ports fitted so it should be up to the same spec as the new vehicles, if anything it might be better because it has what I believe to be better seats.
I always thought there would have to be a 'generic' X-lines livery, I just didn't think it would be the grey!

Yes quite surprised to hear it as generic and not a variant. I thought the black was going to encompass the current red kite routes. From the blurry pictures the xlines skyline look to be similar to X21 and no red kite in sight.

(23 Oct 2019, 11:15 pm)TEN 6083 Think it’s for the X31/X70/X71 the grey variant of X-lines as it said those will be going into X-lines on the article GNE published back in June unless the Red Kite are getting a slightly different version if/when the new Streetdecks arrive.

The current X31 works off an incoming X45 and back onto X46, X70/71 work onto/off X46. But also a picture posted from the inside of wrightbus shows a number of green backed streetdecks, the timetable for the X30/31 is also green. Looks the the other ex eyms E400 will go green to make up the numbers.
I think the red variant will be for the X1 when it’s announced that route will be upgraded to Xlines.
