(01 Jan 2020, 9:50 pm)Ryland 1759 moving to Darlington is more of a wise move then darlo loaning one of redcar pulsar.
4658 are we likely to see this return onto the roads this year or are we by some miracle going to get some new buses to replace the omicity

(31 Dec 2019, 11:08 pm)Jimmi Think 2850 & 2851 are transferring to Belmont for the increased PVR on the 57/57A as a result of Scarlet Band giving up the 58/58A
Regarding depot transfers, for instance the recent (albeit temporary) movement of Whitby P&R 7609 to Blyth, (from Redcar?) Do staff - driver/service supervisor/engineering staff, from the 'borrowing' depot have to collect, and if so, how do they travel to the 'lending' depot?
(06 Jan 2020, 5:30 pm)S830OFT The 57/57A have been fully Optare Solo operated today. By any chance is there any narrow roads on the 57 route?

(06 Jan 2020, 6:12 pm)Andreos1 I wouldn't say they were particularly narrow, although the 57 does get down some estate roads.
Some of the route of the 57A is shadowed by the X21 and you know what gets allocated to that.
I'd suggest the vehicle allocation for the 57a was more to do with loadings than owt else.

(06 Jan 2020, 8:52 pm)RobinHood Yes, Service 57/57A it is specifically allocated Solos, mainly due to the route in Quarrington Hill.
It Interworks with half of Service 43, presumably to allow driving duties to be cut in either, 3, 4 or 5 hour chunks. If the 57/57A didn't interwork, drivers would need to be changed every time, creating only 3 hour chunks of work, which isn't very efficient.

(08 Jan 2020, 10:03 pm)S830OFT Are Arriva going to start upgrading buses to Euro 6 that run into Newcastle? They are the only Euro 6 from build yes, but quite a few have already been retrofitted.
Am I correct at thinking 1602 - 1614 & 7541 - 7552 are the only Euro 6 buses aswell...
