(06 Oct 2015, 11:26 am)Bus_User When you say a refurbishment, is it to completely strip the unit down to the bodyshell or is it a refurbishment in respect of the DDA modifications?

Re the door release beeps being too much - a lot of units down the south (especially Electrostars and Turbostars) have seven beeps. Those I do not mind - it's just the likes of South West Trains' Class 458/5s that have an ear-piercingly loud Desiro-style 'bing bing bing' which, once the door opens, is absolutely deafening.

First time in 3 years that one has operated on the Tyne Valley!
I picked this leaflet up at Sunderland yesterday from the timetable racks there. I only got to have a look at it now, and it turns out it's a staff leaflet. Are these supposed to be distributed into the public?

Not a public leaflet. Why would a passenger need to know the various points in the leaflet?
