A query of my own... where does PCL Travel's service 15 stop at Cragside heading towards Alnwick? I don't really want to be stood in the wrong place just for the bus to drive past as I need to catch a train from Alnmouth...

Are North East Explorer Tickets now valid before 0900 on all weekdays ?
I must admit it is probably 5-10 years since I last checked validity and there definitely used to be a time restriction but there is nothing mentioned on the Nexus website or in the downloadable pdf.
I remember it used to be valid before 0900 in Jul & Aug plus between Christmas & New Year only.
Don't think their is a limit on explorers,I'm sure my wife has bought a few last year before 9am

Yes, they're valid before 0900 every day. I often get them at 0515
Thanks for all the replies with regard to the Explorer validity. I have not had the need to use one early on a weekday for several years and remembered that there used to be a time restriction.
On checking and seeing no mention of restrictions I had wondered if it had been inadvertantly omitted as it's quite rare for restrictions to be relaxed !
So it's glad to have reassurance that it's OK.
