(04 Apr 2020, 8:42 am)ifm001 30 started on deregulation  day 26 a October 1986

X20 started in 1989 not sure of date.
X34 started much later 1998 I think it was.

Did the 31 started the same time as the 30?, both were originally minibus operation, the 30 operated one way around cleadon and the 31 operated the other way round cleadon before heading back to Shields

No the 31 did not start for many years after the 30.

The 3 and 4 got diverted from full length King George Road to Sunderland Road and Nook.  When this change happened the 31 was introduced due to North end of King George Road losing all services.   The 31 lasted a couple of years then was withdrawn when they released the residents of King George Road top end did not use buses at all

(04 Apr 2020, 9:27 am)Robin57 Do you want me to find the day of the x20 & 30?
I've told you the day of the 30.

Which buses will Sunderland delicense from Sunday, due to more changes?, As the PVR drops from 53 to 41.

Edit:

I worked out... 84 PVR for a full normal service.. so in a matter of weeks, its dropped from 84 to 53 to 41... crazy, just shows you the demand isn't there.

These changes are bizarre. The Sunday services have now been changed, with some running less frequently than usual on a Sunday (eg 12, 36) but they've introduced a Sunday service on the 13 and 35!
They've brought in the planned 5th April timetable change and renumbering of the 794 as well.

These changes are bizarre. The Sunday services have now been changed, with some running less frequently than usual on a Sunday (eg 12, 36) but they've introduced a Sunday service on the 13 and 35!

But it does make sense like you can't just cut of Wolviston Court by Axing the 35 all together, same with several areas on the 13 as its the only bus that goes there. Yet the 36 route is pretty much covered by other routes (and people shouldn't really be travelling from Teesside to Hartlepool unless they are keyworkers).

But the 13 and 35 dont normally run on Sunday thats what I'm saying. The areas are normally cut off, and they would probably get more passengers normally if they ran than they will at the moment.
