Few fleet changes outside the Corona Situation
11300/503 back from Highlands
19218 should have gone the opposite way
39709 is now officially allocated to Hartlepool, replacing 39658 to reserve. 39657 now for disposal

Also, according to Steven Knight Media - Fleet News Ramblings, Training Bus MAN ALX300 22074 is out of use due to Mechanical Failure.

It seems as if these MAN ALX300 training buses are not as reliable as the Volvo B10Ms they replaced... I won't be surprised if these are replaced in the near future, as I assume the training buses will also need to be upgraded to Euro 6 anyway if and when used in the Newcastle area from next year?

I assume 39657 has suffered mechanical defects beyond repair?

The 3 Omnilinks might have found their new roles within the fleet when they get disposed of Tongue

Well it was supposed be after the changes on the 5th April, but they were cancelled because of the Coronavirus... the changes will take place at a later date.

The PVR would of dropped, so the Euro 6 gas buses were planned to go on X24... and the Omnilinks are horrendous, always off the road.

All 3 are currently off the road, and are been stored, currently allocation for the X24 is gas bus... due to the lower buses needed in service.

Shame about omnilinks I do like them (as the seats are very comfortable) when on the road. Just wish Stagecoach would get Old citylinks from Scotland and use them or couple old DD from their.

Engine failure late last year - understand the cost of a replacement engine is more than what it is worth. As such, it's being stripped for spares to keep its sisters going.
