We’re excited to unveil to you our brand new Airlink buses.
To give you the chance to see them up close and get on board, we will be holding an Airlink Roadshow in Castle Street on 25 July 1000 – 1900.
Come along, meet some of our Airlink drivers and see our latest buses.
We look forward to seeing you there!

I'd assume these will enter service within a week or so, hazard a guess at the 29th July.

Bus drivers in Edinburgh will take indefinite strike action from the end of next week, unless they accept a last-minute offer in a long-running dispute with management.
A total of 1,700 drivers will be balloted on Friday on a deal which includes a 2.7% pay rise.

This was one of three Scania N250UD Enviro 400 MMC's which were purchased from Reading Buses and originally used on service X62 (Edinburgh to Peebles), it has now been converted to an Open Topper for use on Glasgow City Sightseeing, I was told earlier in the year by another spotter when in Carlisle this was due to happen to meet guidelines for Glasgow's Low Emission Zone.
Off to Fort William for a week in July, according to Google, Shiel buses is the main operator, and they seem to use a nice variety of coaches and mini buses - http://www.shielbuses.co.uk/shiel-buses-fleet
Scottish Citylink also services that area.

So you would stop going to somewhere you wanted to go just because you had to change part way through your journey? When I still go to the Metro Centre even though there is no direct bus form where i live. I need to change at Gatesehad so i don't see what the problem is? You need to remember that taking all these buses away from princess street and the City Centre will improve the shopping experience for shoppers, thus for ever person who would choose not to go because of having to change to the tram, several will now go due to not having to breath in diesel fumes as they walk along the street.
