Here's a few "paperbuses" I done a few years ago for Paperbus group Own The World where I owned Go North East and a few other operators.

Note - I refurbished the B10BLEs and fitted them with Wright Millenium range front panels. The Original 24/7 livery I used had an all black rear end, where as the refurbish version has orange on the rear to aid sighting purposes.

Seeing those GM paper buses of Blackpool makes me remember how much I hate the Metroline livery that Blackpool Transport adopted over that cream and green

Aye I felt my livery was the best of both worlds.

Mind I don't mind the Metro Coastlines liveries. It's better then what they have now.

With the Citylink Mercedes being pushed off the cliff with the arrival of Optare Versa, the question remains as to what will happen to the X66. While it is likely the Mercedes are to remain for now and ignoring the fact that Optare Versa would be the most likely single decked vehicle choice, how about Optare Tempo as replacements?

I believe there is a stipulation with the Metrocentre that the X66 must be Bendy Buses. Same with the X40 that the contract specifys Bendy Buses.

Didn't they trial a Wright Streetcar about 5 years ago? Surely worth another look.

Having recently travelled on the Optare Tempo SRs with Trent Barton, I find them to be pretty solid buses.

I don't believe the Metrocentre would be too worried if Go North East offered to provide a more frequent service in return for the removal of articulated vehilces.

With SPD vehilces in the fleet, one wonders what will happen to the final branded SPD 8228. Prehaps a Wright Solar/Scania L94 could be branded for Tynedale Link services as its replacement?

Why would you think a Scania.....not a cadet from South Tyne as they are similar size?

Admittedly the Cadet and SPD have an overall similar capacity, inlcuding standees. The Scania may have a slightly greater capacity with standees, but the number of seats amongst the 3 are rather similar. The Cadet vehicles are more suited to replace MPD vehicles.I do believe a Scania is the appropriate choice in this instance.

let's hope it Doesn't include Flowers...

I want it to keep the Fab Fifty Six name but with a different style and design.

I like the style of writing these have used on the Tynedale Express - so Fab Fifty Six in that style.

Not sure on the brand design i would have.

I'm hoping we see more destinations included on side of the bus instead of just - Sunderland - Concord - Newcastle - Every 10 mins

If i had to make up the brand for it, i would of had it as Citylink because it links 2 cities up... not like the 58 -.-

Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.
