Stagecoach North East hired vehicles
Photographed this vehicle at Coach Lane Campus this afternoon, it had just finished a journey on the 1. I presume it is on hire to Stagecoach as it has a fleet name and fleet number 80044. It was latterly with Golden Tours of London In a Harry Potter al over wrap.

I believe the 4th is BF62 UYP. All are formerly Golden Tours vehicles.

(12 Oct 2020, 7:59 pm)N391OTY No idea about running boards but 3 seem to be working each weekday on duplicate service 1 between Coach Lane Campus and City Centre only (not through to Slatyford).I saw the Jewitts coach in Blackett Street last week, it changes to a 36 to Fenham after working the 40 into toon.
They appear to work during morning and afternoon peak hours only. Full registration details are -
80044 BF62 UYN allover white
80045 BF62 UYP allover white
80046 BV13 ZCZ allover dark blue
80047 BF63 HEJ allover dark blue
I also noticed a Jewitts of Chollerford Levante coach on a dup service 40 in Byker on Friday afternoon last week. Registration was AYZ 3679, and was formerly Ambassador Travel 212, BF63 ZSN.

Fleetnumbers originally allocated to Cumbria & N. Lancs. Merc Sprinters early this year (80044-50) but not used allowing re-use of the numbers
Does anyone know if stagecoach are hiring a Wardley Coaches vehicle on dups over the 40 route in newcastle on a morning and evening, noted it picking up and dropping of in walker tonight

(04 Dec 2020, 8:53 pm)N391OTY Wardley Coaches have a contract which picks up hi-vis wearing workers at several places in Wallsend and Byker at night. Used to be a minibus but they now use a coach for social-distancing. I often see it on Shields Road just down from junction with Chillingham Road around 6pm. Could that be what you saw.
, which appear to be parked up at the back of walkergate atm, with uni/colleges being sent home for xmas wont see these again till new year. Looking into the depot yard seems 2 of the kinetics are still waiting for the final departure, presumably to Alpha's
