(31 Oct 2020, 6:43 pm)Dan Mainly reducing the ones in Sunderland (due to low use), in favour of adding more in Newcastle.

Not surprised tbh, its been great this week, buses quiet because the kids were off.

Before anyone asks, yes it was essential journeys.... I was going to work.

28018 has brokedown near the Broadway, bus didn't want go any further.

Bus was packed too, couldn't get on the next bus.

Edit:

27731 has replaced 28018 on the 16

I’ve noticed service 4 and 13 aren’t currently serving both hall farm and mill hill on Sundays. Is this a permanent move or just covid timetables

Customers are advised that, in light of the latest Government advice relating to the coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary for us to implement changes to a number of our services from Saturday 9 January 2021.

These changes are necessary to reflect changing customer travel demands following the introduction of Tier 4 restrictions. In short, weekday timetables are unchanged, but weekend timetables will be reduced.

Stagecoach Newcastle Enviro400H,12069 broke down this morning on New Bridge Street, Shieldfield. Was sitting there with driver for a few hours. I think it was operating a 22 to Cobalt & Silverlink originally (according to bustimes.org).

6 routes was originally the case last time they transferred. However when they transferred back to Shields couple of months ago they never transferred any vehicles from Sunderland so seems strange they have sent the 2 vehicles to Sunderland this time.

Although the moving of the X20 and 30 doesn't make sense in line with low cost, as these are heavily subsidised low volume routes.
