(07 Jun 2016, 3:17 pm)northern156 Was just going to say. You do not pay for any seat reservation (regardless of class of travel).Seat reservation is bad enough at times without disruption. Had some old bloke plonk his bag on my reserved seat and I was in a bit of a state that night so I ended up in someone else's reserved seat, fortunately I was able to move into my reserved seat later in the journey.
You pay for your advance ticket. Not sure why you're complaining here Malarkey because this advance would have been a fair bit cheaper than a walk-up fare!
As Citaro said earlier, reservations simply do not work and cause more chaos than they're worth when umpteen trains are cancelled.
