(11 Aug 2021, 6:56 pm)RobinHood In order to cover 100% miles, yes.If they have worked for them for less than two years then yes, as it'll cost them nothing to get rid of them. The irony being i'd love to be made redundant if the "price was right " so to speak, but as a long server i'd be one of the last to be offered it. In fact i'd probably have more chance of being hit by lightning.
20% reduction in drivers in some depots can be as much as 40 people. Considering the North depots are going back to close to normal end of this month suggests that drivers are close to normal levels - at least North of the Tyne. If I was a driver there, I would be worried.

I would say the south region there not much investment needed. Maybe a few more deckers for the X12 if it continues long term to Newcastle and they missing an opportunity not to promote the fact they go to Eldon Square, so maybe deckers with route branding and possibly a faster service alongside the X12. They need to look at replacing the 08 plate solos and possibly the E200 on the 57 57A but other than that most of the fleet seems fine.

The X12 used to have deckers, and occasionally still chucks up an E400. As with all speculation or desire there is little prospect of anything new or cascaded. The sale of the whole company causes no end of problems with monopolies, and it just drags on and on. The more time passes the less attractive the business and the less willing to replace en-masse the prospective suitors.
(10 Sep 2021, 7:46 pm)V514DFT Do any of the depots own anything that is Euro 6,because theyre gonna need to have Euro 6 buses when CAZ takes effect

(10 Sep 2021, 8:13 pm)Storx Aye I seen that again like, mind honestly surprised it's only 1 the way Ashington has been the past few months.

(10 Sep 2021, 7:52 pm)Storx The majority of Northumbria's fleet.MMC's are definitely Euro 6
All Gemini 2's
The Max Pulsars at Blyth
Believe all the Pulsars at Jesmond
Some Solos at Jesmond, not sure which.
Jesmond Streetlites
Believe all the Enviro 400 (MMC)'s - not 100% sure there.
The X12 Pulsars
There's only the B7TL's and Omnicity's which aren't now if I'm right and most those are stuck on the 35/35A now anyway at Ashington.

(10 Sep 2021, 8:20 pm)mb134 Swapped at Ashington for 7543.
Generally the evening Sapphire allocation is fully MMC, though if this isn't the case early evening then things are swapped around far earlier than today - that said it's possible that a breakdown or another vehicle swap needed to happen with higher importance the last time 7446 was at Ashington. If any of the Volvo's were to stay out all day (which on paper should never happen), 7484 or 7486 would be the more logical options despite their increased age.
