Considering a quick check of bustimes suggests that a Solo has only been allocated to the X1 twice in the past month (today and yesterday) I'd say it is fairly rare actually

I don't think it's a solo as someone told me yesterday they were wating to see it at Houghton and it was a streetdeck. Could be wrong though

Unless ticket machine is wrong, 6331 is working the X45 ex Consett @1105. Subsequently, that then works on to the X30 ex Newcastle @1215. Will it need to divert to avoid the bridge in Dunston?

6343 is operating the X45. 6331 was showing as an X45 but operated the 47 route. Now correctly showing as running the 47.

Nothing is that rare anymore. I would argue that the only rare thing is when you see a Go North East bus on an Arriva or Stagecoach route but even that has become commonplace over the last year or so.

I would class as rare is a bus from another depot on a route. Or a mini bus on a high profile route. Or a single decker on the X9/10

I know all the allocations are all over the place atm with dozen's of rebrands/refreshes and allocations changing due to PVR surplus etc... but here are some I have found at about 2pm today. In case anyone wants to get any photos.....

Green Arrow - 5491 on the X10 (In Newcastle atm towards Middlesborough)
East Gateshead Orbit - 5442 on the 57 (to Newcastle)
Sunderland Berries - 8337 on the 57 (to Leam Lane)
East Gateshead Loop - 6158 on the 643 (to Metrocentre)
Xlines - 6333 on the 78 (to Castleside)
IndiGo - 666 on the 9 (to Sunderland)
White - 5499 on the 52 (to Newcastle)

(all according to Bustimes.org)
