Which songs are they?

I did a cracking rendition of Little Donkey when I was that age. They said I was gonna be the next Aled Jones.

Disappointed Michael. Was hoping we would get a virtual rendition.
Mind, you practiced them at work today and now you can't remember them? Just like my kids when I ask what they have been doing at school!

Half of them are new or cut down versions of old ones, i sung them in 1994-1997 or something like that, makes me feel old.

The age i work with though, you'll understand why, but that's all i'm saying on that..

I have a cousin (and uncle) named John Moore who, like me, lived in the Blaydon/Winlaton area. I don't know where he lives now but I wonder whether it's the same person?

You never know?! Tis a small world!

It's at this point, the magic of TV fails to transfer in to the world of online bus forums. If this was TV, we would have unveiled your cousin (and uncle) and caught the look of shock on your face. Before taking you all back stage for a catch up and cup of tea.

Given their proximity to the location where the photo was taken (at a guess - The Summerhill), I'd lay money on it being one of the two (or another member of their immediate family).

As for the reunion, we were never that close to begin with (though not in an acrimonious way) so I'd probably decline as we'd have very little to say to one another. My parents may still get christmas cards of them but that's about the extent of it.

At that point TV producers lose interest in sending the cameras up to Western Gateshead and suggest your folks ask the question in next year's Christmas card.
A year is a long time to find out if a relative took the photo, but it's a price to pay Wink

One I have just came across on FB is 'Old photographs & memories of Durham City'.

There's some cracking photos over the years. A recent addition was photos of the A690 being built underneath the station and along North Road. The number of buildings demolished was more than I thought.

There's also a fascinating shot inside what is 'Sambucas' at the bottom of Gilesgate Bank. The shot taken in 1968 shows it in its previous form as a railway station.
