Tyne Valley Ten re-brand
Tyne Valley Ten re-brand
(22 Aug 2021, 5:22 pm)TEN 6083 Had a look on VOSA and they were renewed on 25/7/21Personally I think they should get a re-paint to match Tyne Valley Ten (if that is still there name) but not yet there are older buses which need a refresh first

(27 Aug 2021, 8:36 am)L469 YVK Only thing I can think of is the Blue represents the MetroCentre (interchange is in the Blue Mall) and the Green represents the Tyne Valley.
(27 Aug 2021, 9:50 am)ne14ne1 Can’t tell if the bit about the blue is a joke or not.If it was lighter blue, I'd say yes. But with that shade of blue, I reckon it's more about the Metro Centre.
Maybe it’s because the sky is blue and the bus passes under the sky?

If you think about it, the X22 & X66 have the same shade of blue and they both serve the Metro Centre. Obviously the Tyne Valley Ten is GNE's major service from Newcastle to the Metro Centre.
From Hexham & Corbridge, perhaps they're thinking of the following too.....
- XLines = Fast to Newcastle
- Tyne Valley Ten = Links to the Tyne Valley and Metro Centre

(27 Aug 2021, 11:29 am)Storx I'm not sure whether colour blindness is been taken in account but green and orange is a big no and so is blue and green when using them both light or dark for blue/green.

Our first two freshly repainted and refurbished Tyne Valley 10 double-decks hit the roads today. These bright green/blue buses are sure to stand out! The white/orange stripe combo is in keeping with our X-lines buses which offer faster journey times between Newcastle & Hexham.https://twitter.com/Dan3942/status/1441298183171104776

(24 Sep 2021, 8:13 am)streetdeckfan The Metrocentre banner on the front looks bloody awful!
Although I guess that's down to Metrocentre's 'minimalist' branding more than anything
