Okay, one thing that I've noticed and now really irritates me (I know, how unusual) is the fact that it's Sunderland District Berries, but Sunderland District Cherry.
Why is Berries plural but Cherry singular?

Is there more than one 'Berry' route but only one Cherry?

I wonder if 5290 - 5297 will become " Sunderland Distract Cherry" then due to 5294 becoming "Cherry".

So it would be:

5290 - 5297 - Service 35 (8 PVR)
5323 - 5327 - Service 55 (5 PVR)
5328 - 5333 - Service X20 (6 PVR)

Spares: 5334-5336

5275 - 5289 - keep on the 6/12/12A and 57 until other buses can be sourced as the E-Zone now has a provisional date of July 2022 to start - https://newcastle.gov.uk/citylife-news/t...ext-summer

I think the 9 electric buses could now go on the 49/49A -

7 PVR + 2 spares

OR

8 + 1 spare (extra bus added to the PVR for reliability)

=

Overall 16 PVR and 2 spares

9 Streetlites from the 49/49A on to the 6/12/12A + 2 spares

Yet to decide, what would go on the 57 - does it require deckers?, if not - it would be stopped at Gateshead - PVR would be 4 - using Versa's - unless they decide to upgrade more Versa's at Riverside, the 57 would remain the same route as now.

I'm not sure what the PVR 39/39A and 61 are but I'm guessing Deptford are going to gain all the 15 and 16 plate Streetlites bar the Coast and Country ones.

So you've got 5391 - 5394, 5410 - 5419 and 5438 - 5442 (19 buses) to allocate somewhere, believe there's too many for the 39/39A/61 there so maybe they could be used on the 55 instead? There's also too many 17 plates for the Coaster unless your planning to upgrade the 19 to them aswell so possibly some of those could be used on the 57?

Most probably, as no doubt the original plan was for this year's orders to replace them. Also no doubt why theres such a big reshuffle in allocations

The 15/16 plates can't be used on them though as they haven't had Euro 6 Mods so unless they're done they can't be used and as someone said there's buses available in the 49/49A batch which has had a few service cuts over the years.

Speaking of them does anyone know what the numbers are like or could the rest of Q1/Q2/Q3 Versa's be dumped on there which would release a few more Euro 6 buses to go into Newcastle. There should be enough of them left with 8310 - 8318 unallocated atm I believe (I could be wrong there though), they've downgraded the 2/2A in the same way.

Have to say up to now. Cherries is taking the best looking at the moment. Don't know what it is. But the X Lines and Cherries suits the Citaro's.

Would love to see what a Citaro would look like with the new Coaster Colours on
