The repaints just happen to be an easy target to go after since they're out in the public!
I wonder how much GNE are spending on cleaning supplies for the buses, maybe if the buses were a bit dirtier then they could afford the extra 0.5% pay increase that would shut them up!

They only ever seem to focus on the short-term financial gains and never the long-term stability of the company. It seems to me unions would rather employees get a 100% pay rise and the company to go bust in a few years than get a smaller pay rise and the company to prosper!

(29 Oct 2021, 1:22 pm)Rob44 Maybe bus drivers are living day to day with the cost of gas and electric rising so short term is all that matters at the moment? Im sure the shareholders/ management wont be short of few quid.

Just because folk own shares, it does not mean they are wealthy with flash cars and 6 bed detached houses!
