(28 Jan 2022, 8:10 pm)L469 YVK PVR is 4 (4 hour round trip with 16 min layover at each end).or likely 6337 if it gets transferred over from Hexham or unless that goes back to Consett
6377 or a B9TL will most likely stand in as needed.

(29 Jan 2022, 3:02 pm)L469 YVK Consett would be the most sensible option for 6337.I wouldn't say so, it's not as low as the rest of the E400s, so it'd be the obvious choice to go with the X10 if they wanted the same type as a spare

Ik this is for the X10, however they have came off the X84/X85
The main reason I think X85/X84 lost over the train is when the train was every 30 mins it was, compared from X84/X85 which left within 5 mins at Hexham - Not to mention that while it was direct going Via Central Station may have helped them. I Don't see why they didn't use 6337 as a always in service bus, to give them a every 30 mins frequency with the X85 having a PVR 2 with 5 mins a each end and the X84 having a PVR 3 and sending it a local way through Darras Hall or somewhere extra to give them a 20 mins lay over at each end.

If anything going off the current PVRs out of Consett, 6338-40 & 6336-37 will provide more than enough suitable Euro 6 spares out of Consett as well as 6064 as a very last resort.

They're both comfortable, the only downside with 6337 doesn't have 240v sockets, but neither do any of the E400s
And as a spare, would you rather have 6337 which will be 8 year old this year or 6377 which is not even 2 year old?

(30 Jan 2022, 9:57 am)Dan Yes, all four into service today in line with the service changes which see the X10 return to Eldon Square. So I presume that's the last we'll see of the Interdecks?

(29 Jan 2022, 2:03 pm)Omega54 Seems like the 10:10 from Newcastle came off the wrong turning on the A19 towards Dalton Park.

(30 Jan 2022, 12:14 pm)Drifter60 Well whilst I’m unsure if this was simple driver error or perhaps a conscious decision based on traffic, I wonder if that could be permanent route change to serve the top of Seaham. Considering the X10 is no longer as fast as it used to be, I wonder if it would create new connections/increase passengers - and would it increase journey times all that much? Obviously, limited stop serving - Seaton Crescent, New Seaham Mill Inn & Mount Pleasant.

(30 Jan 2022, 11:50 am)cbma06 I’m surprised that the X10 on Sundays doesn’t run every 2 hours, is there a demand on a Sunday for an hourly service?.Good job it's not! https://twitter.com/gonortheast/status/1...YOVNSEE0Rw&s=19
