Is a double decker on the 87 rare? Don't recall seeing that before.

Is 22411 a rare working on the 11? Seem to recall a mostly double decker operation on this service - though I stand to be corrected.

I hope there isn’t a match on in Newcastle today if Stagecoach are downgrading routes to single decks?

Funny you shoukd mention it, there is a match on tonight with potentially three new debutants playing.

Should be a sell-out.

Im pretty sure there is a couple of decker boards but the rest of the allocation is made up of E300s

Yep weekdays it’s mostly E300s with deckers on the boards that interwork with scholars/X79. Do tend to still get the odd ALX300 on there from time to time. Sundays gets MMCs (used to be exclusively deckers for some reason, now more mixed). Apart from Sundays I don’t think it’s been fully decker-operated for decades.

... and it was on 22 today. Saw it heading down Coast Road this morning on the way to Cobalt to pick up the service. Wonder if Walkergate are using it as a type trainer as they probably need a few more saloons for the 317 ?
