These changes are not speculation as such since they have been put out to tender (and leaked into the public domain), however who will win the tender is open to speculation which renders the thread title WRO (sorry)...incorrect.
Stagecoach Speculative Tender Bidding Victories may be a more appropriate title for the thread.

(02 Feb 2022, 11:02 am)busmanT GCT might be able to meet the contract specification (presumably Euro V or Euro VI) easier than Stagecoach, Go North East or Arriva given that GCT have a very modern fleet (the newest in the North East by a big margin).
