(19 Apr 2016, 4:38 pm)Andreos1 Just read an article in Metro.
I basically quoted the bones of the article
I see a train has derailed on the entrance to Paddington.

(21 Jun 2016, 10:50 am)northern156 Oh dear Andreos, that looks like typical newspaper type speak! Cringe!
Train derailed on trap/catch points designed to do just that job if a train passes a signal at danger. I've seen rumours the signal was 'put back' after a possible error by the signaller(s), but that is no more than a rumour. Full details, as always, will be available in the appropriate RAIB report when issued.

(21 Jun 2016, 11:20 am)Andreos1 Whey, all these industry parlances get a bit tiring after a while. It gets like an episode of Casualty at times. A bit 'dumbing' down never did anyone ever harm
(21 Jun 2016, 11:20 am)Andreos1 Heard similar rumours, but I am sure you would agree a public forum isn't the place to be commenting.

Feature on Severn Tunnel electrification.
Having seen the lack of progress, I ain't surprised.
Sections of electrification deferred.
