I thought I noted an Arriva bus fleet number 7180 in Darlington last month, though not in "standard" Arriva livery. It was a double decker with "Training" highlighted. Was this an Arriva vehicle, did I get the fleet number right, or are these near 80 yo eyes beginning to let me down ?!!?
Thanks for any help. David.

No Arriva buses with the fleet number 7180. Can you confirm the livery - was it a "pinky purple" front with the blue rear?

Deckers in the area with the purple/blue livery are:
T69 - LJ59 ADV - Enviro400
9995 - LJ51 OSK - Wright Gemini/Volvo B7TL
Arriva Yorkshire 704 - YJ52 CFA - Optare Spectra

Not an Arriva bus or a double decker, but ex-Go South Coast 7180 (YN04 GHV) comes to mind for me: https://www.flickr.com/photos/trevor-pla...st-2n1ZXPW

Thanks to both. It was on St Cuthberts Way close to Northgate roundabout. Yes it was a decker (the old eyes can at least cope with that !!), and it did have a lot of colour about it, mainly blues and probably purple.
Not to worry. I will have to try and look even closer next time!
Cheers . David.
