So with the recent diversion in Camperdown taking place. And the buses 352/353/342/X7/X8 serving Great Lime Road next to alpha and the 37 serving the A189. I'm wondering has a bus route ever went along Great Lime Road where alpha is or is this the first time

But to make this thread a one to talk about. What other diversion have taken place that hasn't seen a bus route

I would imagine historically busses would have used the Great Lime Road to Dudley before the A189 and associated infrastructure was built, though I am speculating.

Not sure they would've as it would've just missed Burradon for no real benefit.

The A189 ran via Burradon, Annitsford and High Pitt - have to remember Cramlington and Killingworth didn't exist at all pretty much so not much point going via Dudley North.

I'd assume the services would've still been the X25/X26/363/364 on those respective routes on whatever number they had back then.
