More downtime...
More downtime...
Quite a major bug hit the forum earlier in which a re-install had to take place. Liam has performed this re-install and the forum works again. However, the usual styling of the forum, alongside mobile optimisation etc, will not function correctly until tomorrow at the earliest.
Liam is having a few personal problems, so got the forum back up and running so that it was usable but unfortunately did not have time to fix everything else. In the mean time, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and I will try and get some things done on the fleet lists and Bygone Era tomorrow to make up for it!

Just logged on before and wondered what had happened to the layout.
When I looked in my settings, the default view had changed from 'mobile' to 'home'.
Changed it back, the layout is better (can actually make sense of the pages) but a lot of the functionality is missing.
If people are on their phones, it might be worth looking at the settings as a temporary measure - so you can still get your NEB fix

To be honest, this is the only forum I bother with - or contribute to anyway.
I have a look at the Merseyside Dennis Dart or Skyscraper City forums, but just 'lurk'. It's surprising how many people get about all three boards to be fair.
Even when I do come on, it is generally when catching up with emails, so just as easy having 'tabs' open, rather than a stack of apps.
Speaking of apps, logged onto the site on the ipad earlier and noticed there was a 'NEB' app.
Has anyone used it?

The quote button isn't working.
It said it was an 'app' - whether it is tapatalk or something else, I have no idea.
Opened the page, and it came up in the centre, like it often does on the ipad, saying their was an app available for this site.
Didn't bother clicking on it to download it.
Shall we give Liam a list?
I don't think the crafty little auto resize image plugin is working either. Could just be me - but the header images in the Bygone Era section appear their normal size.
Think all of the workarounds Liam added to the previous install of the forum may have departed. :p
It leads to an app called "Forum Runner".
I think Liam needs to lay off the alcoholic beverages and sort this bloody forum out! I'm useless - I just come up with terrible ideas to improve things! :p
