Sleeping Commuters
Sleeping Commuters
I had a little bit of a run-in with this first bloke and subsequently had a few hours of him trying his hardest to get his arm on the middle arm-rest. He failed miserably.
However when he dozed off, I took my opportunity to snap away.
The problem with night 'Sleepy Commuter' shots is spoiling the photo with my refelction - hence them being heavily cropped.
I ducked just before he turned around
Pacer nap.
The seat that keeps on giving.
This lass was canny. Had a bit chat on and then fell asleep. I nearly felt guilty taking the photo. Nearly felt guilty putting it on here too.
Apologies for the bag strap, but this was a reflection off the overhead luggage rack on a TPE 185 yesterday afternoon.
How anyone can fall asleep on a bouncy squeaky Pacer (142067) I'll never know...

Early morning snoozer
(31 Jan 2017, 8:13 am)Andreos1 Early morning snoozerSome on the night 20As just get on the back row and are flat out. They then slip forward, facing down the aisle on the floor, blissfully unaware. Normally they want off at Sunderland or Durham so there's never normally any missed stops and whatnot. I see so many sleeping commuters on the early 97B/X31s that this thread would be filled if I joined in

Some mad skills required for this shot on the TTX as I got this whilst in the process of getting off the bus
Just had a cracker. Lad woke up just as I was about to take a photo (would have been a belter of a photo too) and shouted 'woooah!' at the top of his voice.
He asked a lass where he was at and then queried if this was past the stop he needed to be off at.
He pressed the bell immediately and walked to the front of the bus, asking if he could stop on the bus until it came back round - about a 60/75 min trip.
The driver pointed out that the stop across the road would be the best bet and much quicker.
Gutted I didn't get the photo.
Photo uploads are working again.
Brace yourself folks, got a few of these to upload!
MAXimum snooze.
How this guy managed to fall asleep when the bus was full of loud annoying school kids, I'll never know.
