On Tyneside again and a little bit more recent.
Various metro stations and parts of the town.

No local connections as far as I'm aware with this one!
Was never really in to these at the time, but rediscovered them recently.
Of course, this video was before Sarah Cracknell did the vocals. Always found her the most attractive feature of the group, even if I wasn't in to their music.

That one often gets an airing on 6 music. Very easy on the ears.

I am listening to Mel Crawford's breakfast show on BBC Sounds. She is at this point playing Gladys Knight & The Pips' Midnight Train to Georgia.

Haven't done one of these for a while!
Anyway, it's a song and there's footage of Newcastle in the mid-80's.
The reason I've never included it before, is because not all of the video is filmed in Newcastle, North East (or even the UK), unlike all of the other ones shared previously - that have the NE featured prominently.

Filmed in and around North Tyneside this one.
Forgot about this thread and the theme I was going with.
Anyway. Here's some Bensham.

I must admit, I did find this rather amusing

It's been a while since I did one of these.
An unusual one, because all of the other videos I've shared filming locally, have mainly been local bands.
This one is unusual in that California based rock band Ugly Kid Joe recorded one of their videos at Marsden and Sandhaven beaches, South Tyneside.

If you look closely, you can see the last Scandinavian Seaways journey between North Shields and Esbjerg.
It's been a while since I did my last 'band making a music video somewhere in the North East' post.
But, here is Teesside band President, enjoying a European Summer, on the pier in Saltburn.

You wait for one. Then two come along together. Sort of.
Can't remember this one at all.
But here's The Wildhearts. https://youtu.be/yE90CbWeKTU?feature=shared
Jumping on the Newcastle bandwagon well before Sam Fender was a twinkle in his father's eye.

Rumored to have been filmed at Washington Arts Centre, here's former Washington resident Toni Halliday and mate of Dave Stewart (him from Bede College/Eurythmics); Dean Garcia.
