Last 32 / Last 16 for England. Anything beyond that should be seen as an achievement. Of course the worst case scenario is we draw a group with Spain, us, France, and the United States. Sad

Until the draw is made, I'm not sure what will happen or who will win it.

One thing I am tempted to stick a bet om, is that England will bomb out in disgrace, Hodgson will be slated in the media and will end up being sacked/resigning in the fallout.

Gone are the days of us going out due to a dodgy decision, heroics from someone on the other team or penalties - we aint good enough.

We won't win it, the way we played our last 2 friendlies we would be lucky to get out of the group but it does depend who we get.

I'm hoping an African team can do well it again.

I think Brasil and Spain will be the final because Brasil is hosting and Spain.. well u know why

Me too mate...

I honestly thought we would be drawn as A2 with the opener being Brazil v England

If we top the group (which is unlikely) it looks like Ghana in the last 16, Spain in the quarters,
Argentina in the semis, Brazil in the final...

Look on the bright side though. 2 draws against Italy & Uruguay and a win against Costa Rica should see us through

I think we've got more chance of Brian Souter welcoming QCS with open arms, or Andreos1 and eezypeazy calling a truce.
