(04 Feb 2018, 6:44 pm)Charles41 I would not be surprised if it had suffered accident damage. Last time I saw it early December it pulled out into a main road without indicating.

On VOSA today - Variation to service S1 plus a new service 52 has been registered (although what's the odds that it turns out to be the S2 like the 51 turned out to be the S1? We shall see), both are effective from Monday (I'm guessing the 52 will be a replacement of sorts for the withdrawn section of the Arriva 44?) Not all of the 52 registration details are available yet.

(14 Mar 2018, 8:09 pm)Tom I would be 99.9% sure it'll be the S2, it seems to be commercial as well which is a bit of a risk considering the 44 is normally empty.
Wonder if they will combine the services so they combine to provide a hourly service between Stannington and Morpeth.

S1 seems to be the direct service via Clifton, so I'd assume the S2 would run between Stannington to Morpeth via Stannington Station, Hepscott and Stobhill.
