Just some info on movies:

As we know Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as the Terminator

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator:_Genesis - which is out in 2015

Some surprising news today is that Matt Smith (who was the 11th DR in DR who) has being cast, not sure on his role yet

Emilia Clarke from game of thrones has being cast as Sarah Connor

Can't wait!

Other movies i want to see this though are..

The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Godzilla
Transformers 4: Age of Extinction
Guardians of the Galaxy
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Dumb and Dumber To
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1

2015 have some really big names out:

The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Jurassic World
Terminator: Genesis
Assassin's Creed
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2
Star Wars: Episode VII - =D
Resident Evil 6

(02 May 2014, 5:18 pm)AIG20 Apparently most of the original cast will return for the new Star Wars - according to the Daily Mirror.

There was a post of all the cast members somewhere on a site the other day

Most of the old cast will be returning, which is quite good, 1 of my top movies to see next year, i can't wait (sounds nerdy as out) haha

In my opinion, the Terminator series peaked at Terminator 2 although I thought Salvation was OK for what it was. I really don't want to see another one featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger - there's only so many times the T-800 can be reprogrammed for my liking. Why not reprogram the T-1000 and bring Robert Patrick back into the fold?

I'm quite looking forward to the new Star Wars trilogy. I like how they've conveniently set it 35 years on from the original saga.

Completely forgot to mention 'One night in Turin'.

Had never seen it until recently, but thought it was brilliantly put together.

Not the worlds biggest film buff, but highly recommend this to any football fan.

It was a local film too - part financed by One North East and partly filmed locally.

Sitting watching Naked Gun 2 1/2.
Naked Gun 33 1/3 is on next. Dunno if the first one has been on.

If you haven't seen them, they're worth watching. Very funny.

I won't spoil the storylines, but they're all about Frank Drebin and his crusade to rid the world of baddies.
In 2 1/2, he tries to stop a major PLC from leeching subsidies from the Government...

I like the Baseball highlights from the first one.

I think I would like to see more sportsmen getting mauled by Tigers (or Lions - I can't remember).

Trailer for the new Ghostbusters film

I wasn't impressed by this.

If the film ends up anything like the trailer then I think it'll be awful.

A Trainspotting trailer isn't a Trainspotting trailer, without a dog being shot in the balls!

Sitting in the old Metrocentre pictures and seeing that particular segment in the original trailer, was what sold the original to me.
Hoping this sequel is as good!

I've read Porno (the book the film is based on - not actual Porno) and it's canny. It's not my favourite Irvine Welsh novel but it's still decent. I hope 'Juice Terry' (probably the best character in the Welsh universe) makes an appearance in the film although I haven't seen anyone listed as playing the character.

Finally got to see Trainspotting 2 the other day.

Enjoyed it.

I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but the majority of the original cast made a return. Certainly the main characters.
I didn't notice a cameo from Dale Winton this time though.

Shaun the Sheep Movie.

Lots of VR action. A nod to Aardman's Bristol heritage perhaps?
They usually use the 62 (complete with flip-dot blinds). Which stops outside Mossy Bottom Farm and takes them to the City Centre. Has a cracking frequency too!

A fantastic underground bus-station scene too. Looked very similar to Eldon Square with shops running alongside the length of one side.
However, the buses parked in a similar fashion to the current Eldon Square, rather than the old one.
Anyone seen it and want to hazard a guess on a real-life location they may have based it on?

Watched The Likely Lads film at the weekend.

Some cracking shots of Newcastle, Northumberland, Hadrian Park, Wallsend and Whitley Bay from the 70s.
There was some cracking footage of the PTE fleet as well - including a scene with a Mk1 Metrobus and Bob Collier getting his roses stuck in the door, as he boarded outside the Grainger Market.

Edit: https://www.reelstreets.com/films/likely-lads-the/ just found this site. It has some stills from the film and also outlines where some of the scenes were filmed. The ones I didn't recognise, were because they were down south in Borehamwood. Don't think I've been to Borehamwood at all.

I feel like they could have cut an hour out of it and nothing would have been lost
