I remembered to screenshot an error message. Seemingly, the message does get added to the threa when this happens. Most of the time.

Looks what came up when I clicked "post reply" when I was posting them GNE VOSA registrations a few minutes ago.
It's happening to me too, ended up posting three reviews

Yep, I managed a triple post!
It seems to be more likely to happen when making big posts.
Those pesky SQL server errors seem to have made a reappearance.
Since the update, when I've tried to insert a link by highlighting words then pressing the 'insert a link' button it doesn't work properly, links will often just copy the link into the post/signature or highlight the wrong word.
Struggling to add a photo, whilst using phone.
Any ideas where to click?
The icons displayed above the text box don't seem to show an 'attach photo' option.

It shows up like this on the normal forum format on my phone, but the attachment section only appears if I hold my phone in landscape.
When I press "choose file" a selection of actions appear.
A bit like Cock Robin, I am having issues uploading photos.
The option to browse and select photo is there, but when I come to upload, the page times out.
Tried a number of different wifi sources and data with no joy.
Any ideas?

I had this the other week. A photo taken with my phone (not even at its highest quality because they're huge!) wouldn't upload at all, but I did succeed with a lower quality screen shot.
If you're able to reduce the file size of your photo, it might help.

I've cropped it quite a bit. Still no joy.
Will try your method if nowt changes.
I've just encountered the same problem with a photo taken on my iPhone. But works fine when uploading a photo taken on my Camera then sent to my phone to upload on here.
On the upload screen, does it show you what quota you have for attachments? e.g. mine shows "You are currently using 120.85 MB of your allocated attachment usage (Unlimited)"

I've still had no joy. Got a backlog of sleepy commuters and a photo of a (now ex-) Thames Valley Solo's broken bumper to upload.
Tried BLM'S suggestion and still no joy.
Current message on upload screen is:
You are currently using
186.56 MB of your allocated attachment usage (488.28 MB)
I seem to have identified one reason for the photos not uploading.
If I select a photo which is on my OneDrive account, it won't upload.
As the camera roll shows both photos saved on the phone and OneDrive, it is often difficult to identify its 'saved' location.

I've done a little bit of tinkering.
See if you still have any issues.

This is a work in progress update.
Please do not use it at the moment, but you will soon be able to post your own news, where it will then be approved by me or another moderator.

That's a good idea, i wasn't going to use it anyway.
The unread posts function seems to have vanished.
A lot of coding has appeared where adverts would normally appear.

Trying to upload a photo of a sleepy commuter via browse -> upload and the following message.
HTTP 500 error
That’s odd… the website can’t display this page
The site may be undergoing maintenance or could have a programming error.
Try this
Go back to the last page
Edit:Cropped the image slightly and it worked.
Think someone - possibly Michael - mentioned about emojis not working recently. This has now been fixed.
Whats happened to the mobile version?
Half of the reply box is getting cut off.
Tried posting a pic of 5235 and 5442 at Stanley yesterday but it will not upload some times get the http 500 message
Struggling to upload photos.
Tried on and off for a few weeks with no joy.
Got a sleepy commuter waiting to be uploaded too.
Can we have latest posts, showing the last posts again (even if read) because i always end up clicking "read all posts" and then end up having no idea what was actually post because i always lose them... and can't be bothered to go through every thread.

Still nothing available regarding photos.
The 'add/insert' option isn't available. It just gets to the point where you browse and select, but unable to go any further.

Just tested and it seems to work fine for me, as below -
Could you send me a snip of the screen you see with the missing options?
