Sainsburys Dart 1759 on 63 yesterday afternoon, front screen now working.
A couple of odd workings from Darlington yesterday, Hospital Shuttle branded solo 2835 was on service 4 and 1508 was on the X1 - rather than one of the five buses thay have branded for the service.
Solo YK08ETF on 24 to Durham. At Park Lane now.

The Hospial Solos are classed as part of the Solo allocation on Saturdays as the H1/H2 are weekday only therefore 2835's appearance on the 4 on Saturday is normal.
Do Arriva have scholars work in Washington?

A 61 reg Pulsar was heading away from Biddick/St Roberts about 8.20 this morning towards Makro/A1 (M).

Or is there somewhere in Washington that does work on vehicles?

There is a Journey on an Afternoon which goes through Lambton, it's numbered 469, there is another which goes through Springwell which uses a Gemini I believe and that finishes at Kibblesworth and there is an 860 which starts at Heworth, No Idea where that goes though, As for mornings I have no idea who does what in the Washington Area, These Services look like they are operated by Jesmond Depot.

There is a Volvo Bus and Truck Centre up at Ayton, further up the road from the Holiday Inn if you were heading towards Crowther Industrial Estate, But from what you have said above I say it was a Scholars Service.
I know on the mornings, one of Durham's X1/X2 Gemini's operate the 878 from Wardley to Cardinal Hume School, arriving at about 08:40. It then goes off onto the X2 afterwards
Theirs an arriva bus hanging around outside washington college

Was it sitting in the Street next to the College, As GNE used to do the Usworth Colliery Primary School Scholar Service using a Red Arrows Citaro at the time, then it changed to a Metrolink Solar after all the Changes a few years back on an afternoon when I used to go to that College, Kingsleys also did it for a while on and off over the 3 Years I was there, which was 2009 to 2012.
The Arriva one that runs through Lambton is numbered 458, Obviously Arriva must operate quite a few Scholars Services in Washington on a Morning/Afternoon. The other Scholars Service that runs through Lambton is 864 which is operated by Kingsleys.
Ye, didnt notice the time, haha

I was heading towards Biddick/St Roberts along the A195 from the direction of Makro. This was going in the opposite direction NIS.

Would of done a Scholars Run to Biddick/St Roberts then, Most likely heading back to Jesmond Depot via that way to go straight onto the Motorway down via Heworth etc

Not knocking the suggestion, that's what my initial thoughts were - but this was 8.20 (early for scholars dropping kids off?) and if heading back to Jesmond, surely at that time heading along the A195 via Barmston, Sulgrave and onto Lingey Lane, Felling Bypass would be quicker than getting stuck on the Motorway...

Could been going towards Ayton to do the 458, as that goes through Lambton just after 8.30 on a Morning going to St Roberts so the timings would fit in perfectly, I think that makes more sense.

It certainly does!
Coming from the direction it did, would make sense if it was a Jesmond vehicle too.
Couple of unusual Middlesbrough area ones today, including:

1712 on X66
Stockton's 1909 on the Redcar-worked 63 (replaced 4701, which is currently sat disgraced in Middlesbrough Bus Station)

Update: 4701 has just left......on the xx55 short 27 runs!
4701 managed one trip on the 27 before being replaced by 1904. Likewise, 1909 only managed one trip on the 63 before being replaced by 4704 off the 64a/X3/X4.
