Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think service X8 only interworks with the X7, however I think Blyth put whatever spare bus they have on a service if it's late.

Had 2 sapphire pulsars and an E200 on it, today. All an improvement on Y reg lowlanders.

I have no idea as I'm from the south of the north east empire in Darlington so I have no idea what goes on up there, ask me anything about this area and I could answer it

Service X7/X8 (was X4/X5) interworks at Blyth Bus Station providing cross-town links.
Service X9 (was X13) is standalone.
Services X10/X11 interwork.
Blyth put whatever they've got (not necessarily spare vehicles) to make sure the service departs on time.
