2826 was out on 17s today though, 3rd day in a row there's been a Solo on there.
Not surprised since they've lost 1906/9/12 and not gained anything!

7518 covering for MAX vehicle, 7412 etc can't be used on X18.

1449 spent the day on the 17. 1494 spent the whole day on the 17a while 1468 spent the morning on there until 1315 when it was replaced by the more normal 1924

7529 requested to be kept local by engineering
7512 was allocated due to 7517 being unavailable, DAF 747* was also allocated, with the absence of 4659, which was repaired shortly after start of service.
Going to put it in here because it's something I've never seen before:
7518 was on the X21 today, surely they would have had a branded example on a Sunday?!

It's a Sapphire? We use our unbranded one on a Sunday

I know, would make far more sense to allocate a branded one though surely?
I can't imagine that, out of a fleet of 16 branded ones, 10 weren't available?

It's probably better to have 7518 out than a 57 reg branded example.
At least 7518 is Sapphire, the Durham Sapphire 22/24 has had a few non Sapphire workings on Sunday's recently.
7518 was parked closest to the depot exit. Plus, it's the highest-spec spare vehicle, so it doesn't make much of an impact if allocated to other services.

It was all branded vehicles this morning. 7518 was brought up as a spare then put on the Sapphires, like any other day.

But surely there would have been a branded vehicle sitting spare in the depot, too? Going for the unbranded spare because it was parked closest to the depot exit just seems lazy.
