I was focused, I went 1st class Durham to Newcastle on the train...  I never saw them coming

It was a overtime shift for that driver on 1508 jimmi, he doesn't have the sapphire uniform so they just let him wear that one, this driver was originally on sapphire many moons ago

Not rare - 8/8a booked for Pulsars. Indeed, the breakdown sheet calls for NSA fitted examples (despite NSAs for the 8/8a not yet having been done) of which 1509 is.
