Seems to be business as usual on the 24, though.
Im informed Cadet 1906 has transferred to redcar ( temp) to assist on cover for frequenta repaints as stocktons are put on hold to allow redcar pulsars to be done first . 1906 is on 22/64/64A today
1906 is working 22s today as the inter working is weekdays only (and seemingly won't exist after Friday)

OK, to summarise Belmont, let's just say nearly everythingBig Grin

The 22 is almost entirely double deckers and from what Husband has said, might have made a few extra runs. The sapphire streetlites have been seen on the 43 and 48. I'm sure big'un will give me his list, later.

Wonder if this has been done for Durham Big Meeting today, as the 24 was full deck operation for this event last year.

I'd guess so. The 24 had its normal allocation, this time. We had quite a lot of passengers for Peterlee.

That'll be the second one we saw, then.

Our journey home was on 7455. Bells don't work - thankfully the lights did, so the driver knew we wanted off as we were upstairs and those stairs are far to steep for me to tackle when the bus is moving, particularly with my sore shoulder - and it crawled up silent bank at snail's pace. Rewarded us by belching black smoke in our faces after we got off it. Hate to imagine how the Y reg Lowlanders coped with that stretch of road if one of the 57 reg struggled that badly.
Maybe not specific to the North East but

A Arriva Yorkshire Pulsar passed me on the A1M at Barton heading in the Darlington direction, What makes it more bizarre is that it had a good load of people on it, Yet had Arriva Yorkshire on its front Destination Display.

Anyone know where it's going or doing?
