Apparently 4922 was withdrawn straight after the BaC show yesterday.

Not sure if its been withdrawn yet, But 4922 is set to go to Pelaw based A Line Coaches once finished with GNE, So id expect it to be up for Withdrawl next due to being sold.
My friend was in Park Lane today and he said the drivers were saying to each other the X36 doesn't have long left.

It's not confirmed, and its driver talk so take it with a pinch of salt.
5280 now branded for Citylink57.

4922 is still in use at Riverside today on 67/69 so wasn't withdrawn (don't think it was ever planned to be, despite the speculation yesterday?)

Does that include route details above the windows?

The cant rail has been revised to show a similar style as the cant rail on the Durham Diamond Streetlites - it reads:
"Buses run early til late • Into the heart of the city up to every 20 minutes".

The idea is that the cant rails on most branded buses will have a similar style, where possible, for consistency. I believe the Saltwell Park Streetlites will have their cant rails stripped with a new white vinyl added on in the coming weeks.

I can confirm that all of the relevant feature symbols are present and correct!

Consistency is good - I like it!

I do hope the 58 and Q3 get route details soon (as well as 5386 on the Q1/Q2) - I know the rear route map on the Q3 has been updated to reflect the extension to Wallsend.
Does anyone know what's been running the Birtley shuttle during the ad hoc diversions
Not sure if it's been mentioned but 5310 has gained a rear ad for Dalton Park

The ones I seen this morning have the new style branding applied.
"Ok way" liveried dart parked up in Stagecarriages depot. Saw it today.

And the revised 57 branding: https://flic.kr/p/TSBqnQ

When reading the news update this afternoon, I paid close attention to the fact that 641-649 have had their Next Stop Announcements removed. I then looked and realised that this totalled 9 vehicles there are currently 9 'indiGo' branded vehicles without Next Stop Announcements (625/7/31/2 at Percy Main and 701-705 at Washington). Could it be possible that the systems will be refitted into these vehicles?

How many more older solos are due? If I'm right in saying, I think a couple of the 63 plate solos are due to be moved from Stanley in the not too decent future.

Yes, I imagine 649 will be one and it would therefore be logical to suggest that 648 is the other.

Are there any plans to keep service 30 in the 'Venture' brand? I would personally remove it but the chances of a Venture SR not being allocated on a regular basis would be very slim.

Most 30s dont interwork with anything other than 704s or 15s so I think it'll be kept the same, given the timetable also is Venture online.

I believe 6145's interior modification amendments are still being processed at the DVLA (after five months, yes!)

If the bus is re-registered while the modification amendments are still being processed, it could muddy the waters (hence the delay). As soon as the interior mods are cleared, the re-registration process will begin.

Saw 8346 while I was driving home from work earlier. Looks much better!

Aye, the previous one was similar to how the mercs/scanias were on the 309/310s so it's good that they've been brought forward.

Thanks - I guessed that there would be something stopping it from being done as I would see no reason why it couldn't be reregistered given that it has worked successfully in the past.

Yes, I wasn't a massive fan on the 53 route on one side and 54 on the other. They both said the same thing in reverse order but I don't see why they couldn't have done something like they have now in the first place. The old Highwayman branding featured a similar style for route details (97 on one side and 98/98A on the other) and that looked just as bad.
5280 back out in service at Riverside today.

Ugh, probably see it on NEXUS contract routes.

Reading a comment on Flickr, how the Aircon doesn't work properly.

Dread to think what it would be used on given that its a 16 seater. Looking forward to the comments from veg slating GNE, seem as some said GNE were crap/stupid for getting them little Solo's that seat 23 passengers

BT66TZM was in the region fairly recently with Hodgsons Coaches: https://flic.kr/p/T7xiFN

with route details for service 58 on rear, with Coast Road added as afterthought, next to Newcastle City Centre.
Sprinter an interestin move but not surprising considering Stagecoach doing little and often trial and Arriva trialling Similar smaller vehicles down south

The rest of the branding gets a thumbs up but I think a couple of places on the Heworth (Wardley) - Newcastle section could be removed in favour of a couple of places on the Newcastle - Hadrian Park section.

I agree very much an afterthought!

Seems like they used old route details then thought sh*t it goes to Hadrian Park now  Tongue
