Could well be stopping off en route to Ensign, was under the impression that they've bought the rest.
Unless they've managed to squeeze one out of batch for use. You'd think it would go to Sunderland straight away through.
I think Stockton need more one coach for X55 service
Invade 54045 break down
If 24005 was for service, would it stopped at wheatsheaf for a paint job etc...?

Would be better going to Sunderland for a X24 spare. No spares for a service that uses three buses six days a week is worse than no spares for one that uses one bus one day a week!
A shame that there's no express by stagecoach between Middlesbrough/Stockton - Hartlepool - Sunderland/South Shields ( Shields to Sunderland section could be via E1 old coast route, stopping at seaburn and Whitburn and also Shields beach area).

You would think so, i hope so!
Hi is 24005 is it still at Stockton depot or more on.
24005 is still in Stockton yard as of this morning.

Meanwhile, the entire fleet of ex-Newcastle Enviros are now in service with 27508 out on 10/11 today. However, 27507 was returning to the depot as I walked back up from there and 27509 was parked in the middle shed.

What about 27510?
27510 was the third one to enter service here
SS Ops: Due to the Barriers being stuck down on Benton Rd the X34 svc is diverting via Biddick Hall, Newcastle Rd & A19 in both directions.

But it was last seen getting towed South at Wetherby.

Read and heard that 24005 is for the X24 as a spare, if so i wonder if it'll be branded up for the X24, as the Omnilinks go on no other routes.
If so how come in go to Stockton depot not sunder land depot

Not sure, but its just speculation.

Would make sense for it to go corporate liveried and serve as spare for both X24 and X55.  Sunderland as a base could work well as a spare for X55 as Sunderland is midway along the route so not too long to recover mileage etc in the event of a breakdown - though I'm not sure they would have a Sunderland based vehicle operating a Stockton route.
I thought the same thing it's spare for X55 and the X24
Reported on Facebook that 24113/4/5 have moved from Stockton to Slatyford, replaced by some ADL Enviro 300s from Shields. Unsure on identities yet

So what is replacing (or temporarily replacing) those South Shields ADL E300s?

As the service changes at South Shields take place next Sunday (4th June). I thought that the "E's" no longer stopping at PLI wouldn't effect the overall PVR - to prevent the buses from running late.

I think the overall PVR at South Shields will drop by at least 6 buses

Buses from Slatyford I assume?

I believe the PVR of the E1/E2/E6 reduces by 1, from 4th June.

They could have reduced it by 2, but this would have only allowed one minute recovery time in Sunderland. Instead, the service will be scheduled to have 7 minutes layover on Fawcett Street.

From this date, Go North East's service 9 will consequently serve stop 18 on Fawcett Street instead of stop 17 - i.e. one stop earlier, the same as services 20/20A, opposite Beautiful Homes. This groups all of Go North East's Newcastle Road services together on one stand, and gives Stagecoach a dedicated stand for its E1/E2/E6 services in the event that the 7-minute layover is required, but in reality, I doubt the service will require it, and this layover is just built into the timetable to ensure it departs Sunderland on time.

39702,03,04 have returned home today to displace 3 E300's to Stockton, There's 2 Branded ones in the Maintenance bays tonight which makes me think there getting prepped for transfer.
35188 is now in full vision at Shields, Currently on the Jack's receiving attention before entering service.

Don't know the identity's of the 3 leaving.

Logical, given that 27723 and 27724 weren't branded. Has 27725 lost its "get there with E's" branding yet? I assume this means that 27726 - 27740 are retained as part of the PVR for the E1/E2/E6, and 39702-04 are the allocated spare vehicles for the services.

Stagecoach North East Bus Depot reports that 35194 was seen parked up with the service fleet yesterday with a ticket machine installed, so has presumably been reinstated at Slatyford.
39701, 39707 and 36479 are on the E1/E2/E6 today.

39707 was jam-packed heading towards Sunderland this morning.

Assuming 24113-5 are for the 100, will the two VOR MAN E300s be returning to service once repaired (not including the severely accident damaged one)?

Slatyford appear to be having a nightmare with these former Scotland vehicles - including the Kinetics.
With more Alexander Enviro 200 at South Shields does any else think these might become the main allcatoion to the 10/11 depending what the PVR is when changes happen

Nope, I've been told that 27725 is out on the 39 still with branding.
