Don't get comments like this in the Go North East threads now, do we? 

1516 was absent from the 7 today as it was in some publicity event for Contactless payment in Darlington Town Centre, guessing it was free afterwards to go onto the 2, this plus the fact 7538 presently is booked to do a 1/5A/19 board will probably go someway to explain how two EcoCity's ended up on the 7 today, no idea how 7535 ended up on the X75/X76 like.

MAX Omnicities often end up on the 2, I'm guessing because if they are likely to breakdown, they can be replaced or sent back to the depot more easily if they are going round town on the 2 than if they break down in say Barney, Boro or Catterick. Additionally Darlington are still short of two EcoCity's following incidents and they seem to prioritize allocating them to the X21. So if Omnicities are missing from the X26/X27, X66/X67 and X75/X76 something has to fill the gaps, usually in the form of Frequenta Solo's.
